02 / Texas Hold'em Poker
Texas Hold'em is the world's most popular poker variant, and at Velvetan Donyx it is played with tournament chips in a friendly, structured format. Each player receives two private cards, known as hole cards. Five community cards are then dealt face-up in three stages: the flop, the turn, and the river. Players aim to make the best five-card hand from any combination of their hole cards and the community cards.
At Velvetan Donyx, Texas Hold'em is played exclusively with tournament chips, ensuring a relaxed, social atmosphere without any real-money stakes. Players receive a set number of tournament chips at the start of each session. Chips have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. The focus is on skill, strategy, and enjoyment rather than financial gain.
03 / Pot-Limit Omaha Poker
Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) is a thrilling poker variant that shares similarities with Texas Hold'em but with a key twist: players receive four hole cards instead of two. Each player is dealt four private cards. Players must use exactly two of their hole cards and three of the five community cards to form their best hand. Betting is limited to the size of the pot, hence the name 'Pot-Limit'.
PLO offers more hand combinations and often leads to bigger pots and more action, making it a favourite among experienced poker enthusiasts. At Velvetan Donyx, Omaha sessions are hosted with the same tournament-chip structure and social focus as our Hold'em games.

The felt surface is optimized for smooth card dealing and chip sliding. Each table seats up to nine players plus a dealer position.
We use custom clay tournament chips that are weighted and textured for an authentic poker feel.
We employ automatic shufflers and acoustic treatments to ensure game integrity and a comfortable environment. Casino-grade automatic shufflers randomize cards thoroughly and prevent manipulation. 07 / House Rules: Strictly Non-Cash Social Poker
Velvetan Donyx operates a strictly non-cash poker policy. No real money is ever wagered or exchanged.
Players accumulate tournament points based on their performance in scheduled poker sessions. Points are awarded for finishing positions in tournaments. Points can be tracked over time to recognize consistent players. Points have no cash value and are used solely for leaderboard standings and bragging rights.
Our floor managers and dealers enforce house rules consistently to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all. Any violation of house rules may result in removal from the table. Disputes are resolved by the floor manager, whose decision is final. Players are expected to familiarize themselves with the rules before joining a game.

Our poker lounge offers full dining service, allowing you to enjoy our dry-aged steaks and craft cocktails without leaving the table. A dedicated waitstaff serves the poker area. The menu features signature dishes designed for easy enjoyment during play. Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout your session.
